Welcome to Les Petites Lumieres. The below terms and conditions apply to all of our services, including workshops, sessions, after-school activities, camps, parties, and speaking events.

1. Registration and Payment

1.1. By registering and engaging to our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.2. Payment is due upon registration for all our services, except for birthday parties and speaking events. We will reserve a place for you and/or your child once when the registration and payment are completed.

1.3. For parties and speaking events, payment is committed upon the email confirmation of the engagement and agreement. The full payment is to be received within 7 days after the event date.

2. Participant Requirements

2.1. Unless specified, participants with all ages are welcome.

2.2 Children who are under the age of 18 require a parent or guardian’s consent to engage in our services.

 

3. Contents & Schedule for Our Services

3.1. Les Petites Lumieres reserves the right to make minor changes to the contents and the sequences of the activities in our services as necessary; but not to deviate from the theme(s) and the objective(s) which were originally planned, agreed and communicated.  

 

4. No Show, Cancellation, Refund Policy and Transfer

4.1. Last minute cancellation, i.e. within 24 hours before the starting time or any time after the starting time, or no show, unfortunately without medical certificate, the amount paid will be forfeit. 

4.2. Cancellation before 24 hours before the starting time of all services, will be refunded in credits 70%. These credits are to be used in the future similar services and to be used within 18 months of the credit issuance.

4.3. Participation may be transferred to another attendee, instead of cancellation, with prior notification.

4.4  For parties and speaking events, cancellation after email confirmation on the engagement will be subject to a 30% compensation of the agreed amount, to cover the costs spent on preparation, administration and the purchase of materials. ​

5. Fidelity Cards, Gift Cards, 5-Session Cards

5.1. All our cards are not convertible to cash or refund credits.

5.1. All our cards, such as fidelity cards, gift cards and 5-session cards are with no expiry date unless specified in the card.

5.2. All our cards are transferrable and may be used for all services, unless specified in the card already, i.e. the recipient’s name is already printed on it and the sessions have already been mentioned.  

 

6. Code of Conduct

6.1. You and/or your children are expected to treat yourselves, others, and objects with respect, kindness, and care. Any additional expectations, i.e. confidentiality and safety related will be mentioned before our services start for your agreement.

6.2. Les Petites Lumieres reserves the right to dismiss any participant whose behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

 

7. Hygiene, Health and Safety

7.1. The hygiene, safety and well-being of you and/or your children are our top priorities. Our studio where our services is hosted is frequently cleaned. Materials that being used in our services are disinfected regularly.

7.2. You and/your children will be notified with specific safety guidelines and rules if applicable before our services start by our staff.  

7.3. You and/your children with special medical, dietary, or behavioural needs must inform us before the services start.

 

8. Media Release

8.1. At registration, Les Petites Lumieres will request permission from the participants, parents, or guardians to use photographs or videos of themselves or their children for promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media, promotional items).

 

9. Medical Care

9.1. In the event of injury or illness, every effort will be made to attend the safety of the participant and to contact parents or guardians if applicable. Les Petites Lumieres is authorized to seek medical treatment if necessary, and all associated costs will be the responsibility of the parent or guardian. Please ensure you and your children are medically insured.

 

10. Lost or Damaged Property, Third Party Liability

10.1. In the event of intentional or unintentional damages in the studio where the service is hosted as a result of the participant’s action, every effort will be made to restore to its original state. In case of severe damages, all associated costs will be the responsibility of the participant or the parent or guardian. Please ensure you and/or your children have the third party liability insurance.

11. Governing Law

11.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swiss law, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

By registering to our services, you and/or your child acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
