[Age 4-12] Summer Mandarin Camp -  Discover Chinese Art & Culture

About the event

We adjust the primary language used in this camp based on the participants' Mandarin proficiency level.

This week, children will immerse themselves in the richness of Chinese culture through a variety of hands-on activities. We will explore the beauty of Chinese music, learning about traditional instruments alongside Western styles. We will practice traditional calligraphy and Chinese painting, fostering creativity. Children will also discover cultural dances and clothing, learning about traditional Chinese attire and movements. The week will continue with an exploration of famous Chinese architecture, from the Great Wall to the Forbidden City. Finally, children will enjoy Chinese movies and animations, offering a fun and engaging way to understand culture, traditions, and folklore.
